I have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults and for the unique struggles that they face. Using a person-centered approach, I aim to create a space for you to tell your individual story in a safe and trusting environment. I want to know you and help you feel that your problems are valid, real, and manageable. Though we are all individuals, we grow up and live within systems and social contexts that shape our experiences, and I do my best to acknowledge this aspect of you in addition to your autonomy.
There is no "right" reason to seek therapy. Sometimes life is hard, and talking to a therapist can make it feel a little easier. Whether you are experiencing stress and anxiety from school, feeling sad about a break-up, frustrated from losing a job, or overwhelmed about politics and the state of the world, we can work through that together.

I strongly believe in the transformative power of therapy. I work with clients using curiosity and understanding to explore the roadblocks that keep them from becoming who they want to be. I typically work with teenagers and adults, and am open to working with individuals, couples, or families. Many of my clients feel stuck or disconnected from themselves or from the people they care about. Together, we work to understand what’s going on and how to move forward in a way that feels true to you.
I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, and I’ll always meet you where you’re at. I use a mix of evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques, all tailored to your unique needs and goals. I’m here when you’re ready.

I started my doctoral program in 2000 and could not wait to get through the boring assessment classes so I could start learning about therapy. I mean, really, what can a bunch of numbers and inkblots tell you about a person? Much to my surprise, those early courses piqued my curiosity and the practice of doing evaluations made me a true believer. Hearing clients say things like, “Wow! It makes so much sense now!” or “I didn’t realize I was doing that” is a powerful and humbling experience. Today, assessment is one of my passions because I see how it changes people’s lives for the better.
My approach to assessment is collaborative, which means building a relationship with you to ensure the experience and results are meaningful. Depending on what you are looking for, test results can range from determining a correct diagnosis to providing valuable information about personal motivations and capacities.
Together we develop an assessment plan, engage in the work, discuss the results, and figure out how it fits into your life. Final reports are a combination of your personal insight and my professional experience.

My clients are the champions of their own lives. It is an honor and a privilege to witness clients grow, heal, and establish better relationships. I have specialized training in how to help people manage and overcome obsessive compulsive disorder and in how to help people resolve marital/couple problems.
I also do focused work in helping clients navigate gender identity issues, and sexual identity issues. I am LGBTQ friendly and kink friendly. I have practical experience helping people with anxiety disorders, obsessive behaviors, mood disorders, and "how to be a grown up" struggles. Past clients have described me as helpful, quirky, hopeful, and healing.

Therapy can be a space for deep healing, and it starts with feeling safe, seen, and supported. If you're navigating relationships, healing from trauma, or managing long-standing patterns rooted in attachment wounds, you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a grounded, compassionate space to help you process the past and reconnect with your strength in the present. My training includes EMDR, somatic, energy psychology, and cognitive-behavioral tools to help rewire thought patterns and support the nervous system in releasing stored emotional pain, often leading to long-lasting, transformational change.
Healing doesn't have to be rushed. My approach is calm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your pace. Whether you are carrying trauma in your body or feel like life is just "too much", let’s see together how we can help you get on an easier, happier road.

Therapy can be many things: healing, grounding, even artistic. At its best, it is a space where your strengths, pain, and experiences are honored, and where real change becomes possible. I believe in meeting people where they are, and see therapy as a collaborative journey, using your personal story as the guide. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches to help you work through anxiety, depression, and trauma, while supporting you in reconnecting with your inner resilience.
I have experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and feel strongly about creating a therapy space that is inclusive, respectful, and affirming. My current areas of interest are trauma/PTSD, anxiety and depression, and I work with preteens, teens, and adults.

Seeking change requires risk, and risk requires vulnerability. One of my greatest honors as a therapist is being trusted to witness and participate in one’s healing journey. I believe in the importance of developing the therapeutic relationship and creating a space where you are able to be your authentic self. I use person-centered, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and EMDR modalities to help you achieve your goals. We work together to restructure thinking patterns, explore your story, and reduce recurrent distress.
I have extensive experience working with substance abuse, adolescent anger management, life transitions, gender and sexuality issues and trauma therapy. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents (15+), and within the LGBTQ+ community.

I believe it takes a lot of strength to reach out for help. Engaging in therapy often means a willingness to be vulnerable. It's an honor and privilege for me to experience that space with clients. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, grief, life transitions, or just feeling stuck, therapy can be a place to slow down and make sense of yourself, others and the world around you. I work with teens, adults, and older adults, and I especially enjoy supporting folks who are neurodivergent (like those with ADHD or autism), as well as older adults and caregivers navigating big life changes.
My style is warm, thoughtful, and low-pressure. I want you to feel safe showing up just as you are. I mostly use a psychodynamic approach, which means I’m interested in how your past experiences and relationships might be showing up in your current life.
I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). This type of therapy is commonly used for treating trauma symptoms, but can be used for anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and eating disorder symptoms. We’ll work together to notice patterns and build insight that helps you move forward.

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, ADHD, burnout, parenting stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions begin affecting how you function day-to-day. I work with adults navigating emotional overwhelm, self-esteem struggles, caregiving stress, neurodiversity, and the pressures of modern life. I also work well with analytical and high-achieving individuals, including those in engineering and problem-solving professions. I especially enjoy supporting individuals exploring late-diagnosed ADHD, including individuals learning how neurodiversity has shaped their relationships, work, identity, and emotional well-being.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I use CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and person-centered approaches to help clients better understand themselves while building practical tools for emotional regulation, stress management, boundaries, communication, and self-compassion.
I also support parents navigating postpartum changes, shifting identities, burnout, and the emotional demands of caregiving. Many of my clients are feeling emotionally exhausted by the pace and uncertainty of modern life and are looking for ways to feel more grounded, connected, and sustainable. Reach out to see if we may be a good fit!
