I started my doctoral program in 2000 and could not wait to get through the boring assessment classes so I could start learning about therapy. I mean, really, what can a bunch of numbers and inkblots tell you about a person? Much to my surprise, those early courses piqued my curiosity and the practice of doing evaluations made me a true believer. Hearing clients say things like, “Wow! It makes so much sense now!” or “I didn’t realize I was doing that” is a powerful and humbling experience. Today, assessment is one of my passions because I see how it changes people’s lives for the better.
My approach to assessment is collaborative, which means building a relationship with you to ensure the experience and results are meaningful. Depending on what you are looking for, test results can range from determining a correct diagnosis to providing valuable information about personal motivations and capacities.
Together we develop an assessment plan, engage in the work, discuss the results, and figure out how it fits into your life. Final reports are a combination of your personal insight and my professional experience.

I have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults and for the unique struggles that they face. Using a person-centered approach, I aim to create a space for you to tell your individual story in a safe and trusting environment. I want to know you and help you feel that your problems are valid, real, and manageable. Though we are all individuals, we grow up and live within systems and social contexts that shape our experiences, and I do my best to acknowledge this aspect of you in addition to your autonomy.
There is no "right" reason to seek therapy. Sometimes life is hard, and talking to a therapist can make it feel a little easier. Whether you are experiencing stress and anxiety from school, feeling sad about a break-up, frustrated from losing a job, or overwhelmed about politics and the state of the world, we can work through that together.

Life is constantly moving, changing, and evolving. Sometimes it feels like too much to take on alone. In a fast-paced world with many truths, I enable individuals to fully understand themselves in a warm, collaborative, and judgment-free environment. I enjoy working with individuals from all backgrounds, especially women ages 18+. I have a special interest in supporting individuals dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, navigating life transitions, managing relationships, addressing eating issues, fostering positive body image, and enhancing self-esteem.
I believe the foundation for therapy is the relationship. I want to create a space that feels approachable and safe to every individual. I will strive to make the therapeutic process collaborative and centered around your goals, with some friendly challenges thrown in at times. I look forward to working with you, and helping you set and meet your goals!

I believe we all could benefit from experiencing a Mind/Body/Spirit connection to find healing and unlock our full potential, and therapy is a way to get there. My approach is to get to know and understand you, follow your lead and adapt to your personal style and needs. I utilize a wide range of techniques, such as Client-Centered, Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, IFS, and some DBT principles with mindfulness, somatic therapy and attachment theory for individuals. I also utilize EFT, the Gottman method, RLT and attachment therapy to work with couples.
I have experience with a variety of mood disorders, different kinds of depressive and anxiety disorders, attachment wounds, trauma, grief and loss, cultural challenges and life transitions, self-esteem, infertility challenges and relationship difficulties. And I am culturally competent with the Hispanic cultures and culturally sensitive to other heritages.
I love working with adolescents 17+, adults and couples, with especial interest in interracial couples and BIPOC individuals. I would be honored to walk alongside with you and look forward to be a witness of your healing journey. Hablo nativo Español al 100% y me encantaria servirte!

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, ADHD, burnout, parenting stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions begin affecting how you function day-to-day. I work with adults navigating emotional overwhelm, self-esteem struggles, caregiving stress, neurodiversity, and the pressures of modern life. I also work well with analytical and high-achieving individuals, including those in engineering and problem-solving professions. I especially enjoy supporting individuals exploring late-diagnosed ADHD, including individuals learning how neurodiversity has shaped their relationships, work, identity, and emotional well-being.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I use CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and person-centered approaches to help clients better understand themselves while building practical tools for emotional regulation, stress management, boundaries, communication, and self-compassion.
I also support parents navigating postpartum changes, shifting identities, burnout, and the emotional demands of caregiving. Many of my clients are feeling emotionally exhausted by the pace and uncertainty of modern life and are looking for ways to feel more grounded, connected, and sustainable. Reach out to see if we may be a good fit!

Many folks seek therapy due to a disconnection: from themselves, others, or community. During therapy, I support your identification of relationship patterns, offer feedback on your relationship style, and hold space for you to practice different relational approaches. I can also incorporate interventions that are cognitive (focus on thoughts), behavioral (action-based), or emotional (name, express, and be with feelings), depending on your personal needs.
Therapy is about change, and change can be scary. With humor, compassion, understanding, and belief in your capacity, I can help you explore what types of change might help you most.

I am passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult emotions, life transitions, and experiences that feel overwhelming or hard to manage alone. My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, meaning I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over four years working in emergency room and inpatient psychiatric settings supporting individuals during acute mental health crises. This experience shaped my trauma-informed perspective and deepened my understanding of how challenging and isolating mental health struggles can feel.
During my clinical training, I was also introduced to EMDR concepts while working with trauma-related concerns under supervision. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults and aim to create a supportive space where clients can develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful growth.

I work as a team with clients exploring current issues and how mind, spirit, and body are interconnected. I believe when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, they are free to experience change. I utilize an eclectic, client-centered, holistic approach incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psycho-education.
I specialize in working with teens and young adults age 12 and older, treating anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive behavior, life changes, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, peer/relationship issues, and depression.
